Six languages are already up, a dozen more will follow these coming days.
A big thank you to everybody involved!
The first step of our journey is completed: 100 young journalists all over Europe, and some beyond, joined our team of contributors and are right now working on a multitude of awesome stories for our big launch.
But of course a project as big as Meeting Halfway needs more than just good journslists: To reach our ambition of publishing in all European languages and reaching as many people across the continent as possible, we are right now building a support team.
We are looking for people who are passionate about Europe and
– can translate. We are especially looking for people with fluency in smaller languages and English / German / French. This is a crucial part of the project, and we need A LOT of people. Put your language skills into action!
– study law or something similar and help us in that area.
– are good at design and have an idea for a bad-ass logo.
– know more about computers and webdesign than we do.
– always wanted to do some real business, not just think about it.
– have marketing skills they want to put into action.
– want to help us in some other way because they have a skill they think might be useful to us.
If you are interested or have questions, please contact us at meetinghalfwaymagazine@gmail.com.
If you want to apply directly, send a short description of your motivation (3 sentences) and tell us what you’re good at (another three sentences). Label those e-mails “APPLICATION support team: YOUR NAME”.
Meet the five young journalists who started the initiative for Meeting Halfway: Nelly, Maria, Ela, Marcus and Sarah.
